Miracle

I thank the Lord when the morning breaks

For the beautiful light that your spirit makes

Every single day is a gift anew

Just sharing this journey of life with you

I watch you walk and I bow my head

For the daily grace in the life you've led

You are the joy that my heart has caught

My beautiful daughter, my constant thought

Oh, Miracle, my precious child

With a heart so warm and a grace so mild

I will stand beside you through the rain and the sun

Until the very last day is done

Hear this promise from my soul to yours

Through the open windows and the closing doors

I will love you, no matter what

I will love you, no matter what

I see the way that you look at the world

The gentle compassion in my baby girl

You reach out your hands to the ones in need

Planting a little bit of heaven's seed

You genuinely love every soul you meet

With a kindness so pure and a smile so sweet

It’s a beautiful gift, how you care so much

Lifting them up with a tender touch

Oh, Miracle, my precious child

With a heart so warm and a grace so mild

I will stand beside you through the rain and the sun

Until the very last day is done

Hear this promise from my soul to yours

Through the open windows and the closing doors

I will love you, no matter what

I will love you, no matter what

When the winds blow hard and the shadows fall

Just remember who catches you when you call

There is nothing you could do, nowhere you could go

That would ever change the deepest love I know

Every single day, you're my answered prayer

Look over your shoulder, I will be right there

Oh, Miracle, my precious child

With a heart so warm and a grace so mild

I will stand beside you through the rain and the sun

Until the very last day is done

Hear this promise from my soul to yours

Through the open windows and the closing doors

I will love you, no matter what

Yes, I will love you, no matter what

My sweet Miracle, no matter what
