Michele

We met on a screen, a spark in the blue

I felt like a blessing was leading to you

At first you were cautious, you guarded your soul

You thought I was playing, just playing a role

You kept up your walls, waiting to see

If there was a truth in the words inside me

Oh, Michele, with a spirit so kind

The most loving woman I ever could find

With your beautiful patience, your open embrace

You brought down heaven and filled up this space

When you're looking for answers and don't know where to start

Darling, just follow your heart

I stayed by your side, steady and true

I had to prove I was serious for you

You read every message, you tested the ground

Until the real love that we wanted was found

Now the doubts are all gone, the picture is clear

You know I'm for real, and I'm staying right here

Oh, Michele, with a spirit so kind

The most loving woman I ever could find

With your beautiful patience, your open embrace

You brought down heaven and filled up this space

When you're looking for answers and don't know where to start

Darling, just follow your heart

From a page on the internet, grace found a way

Your gentle openness chased fear away

It wasn't just typing, it was a grander design

I thank the good Lord that your journey met mine

Oh, Michele, with a spirit so kind

The most loving woman I ever could find

With your beautiful patience, your open embrace

You brought down heaven and filled up this space

When you're looking for answers and don't know where to start

Darling, just follow your heart

Yes, I'm for real, we will never apart

Michele, just follow your heart
