Anthony

I was stranded in the driveway over at Peter's place

Turning the key, getting nowhere, staring into space

Peter said, "Don't worry, I know a man who knows his way,

I'll call my mechanic, he can save the day"

I didn't know the Lord was setting up a plan

To introduce me to this patient, caring man

Oh, Anthony, you are a blessing to my soul

With your protective hands, you make my spirit whole

You fix what is broken, you're so patient and kind

A heaven-sent love bringing peace to my mind

You got my engine turning, but you also preach the Word

The sweetest hallelujah that I have ever heard

You looked under the hood and you figured out the part

But you didn't just fix my car, you jump-started my heart

Grease on your fingers, but the Spirit in your voice

Every time you share the gospel, you make me rejoice

You're a man of the Lord, standing tall and true

I thank God every morning for the gift of you

Oh, Anthony, you are a blessing to my soul

With your protective hands, you make my spirit whole

You fix what is broken, you're so patient and kind

A heaven-sent love bringing peace to my mind

You got my engine turning, but you also preach the Word

The sweetest hallelujah that I have ever heard

When the road gets heavy, you are my shield

With a caring touch and a faith so real

You preach the good news, you shine His holy light

Guiding me safely through the darkest night

An evangelist walking in grace and peace

With a love for me that will never cease

Who knew a broken motor would lead me to this joy?

God used a simple moment that nothing can destroy

Now we're traveling together, with faith as our guide

With my beautiful mechanic right by my side

Praising the Lord for the day that we met

A divine appointment I will never forget

Oh, Anthony, you are a blessing to my soul

With your protective hands, you make my spirit whole

You fix what is broken, you're so patient and kind

A heaven-sent love bringing peace to my mind

You got my engine turning, but you also preach the Word

The sweetest hallelujah that I have ever heard

Yes, the sweetest hallelujah that I have ever heard!
