Quilla n Toni

I count my blessings when I bow my head to pray

For the grace that walks beside me every day

Quilla and Toni, you are the anchors of my heart

A bond of sisterhood that nothing tears apart

You always listen with a patient, gentle ear

And speak the wise words that my spirit needs to hear

I just want you to know, from the bottom of my soul

You mean everything to me, you make my spirit whole

Through the laughter and the tears, you're the ones I need to see

My beautiful sisters, you mean everything to me

I can almost hear the joy at our chicken and fish fry

The way your funny stories lift me up so high

When Labor Day comes 'round, and we gather in the sun

I thank the Lord for all the caring things you've done

And passing 'round the blessings at our Christmas dinner plates

I look at both of you and feel a love that radiates

I just want you to know, from the bottom of my soul

You mean everything to me, you make my spirit whole

Through the laughter and the tears, you're the ones I need to see

My beautiful sisters, you mean everything to me

Oh, you are patient when the world is moving fast

You are wise enough to know the things that last

You're so caring, you're so funny, you're a light upon my way

I just had to stop and sing this song to say

Lord, I thank You for Quilla and Toni today

I just want you to know, from the bottom of my soul

You mean everything to me, you make my spirit whole

Through the laughter and the tears, you're the ones I need to see

Quilla and Toni, you mean everything to me

Yes, my sweet sisters, you mean everything to me
