Felisity

March twelve, two thousand twelve, my world was made anew

I count my blessings every time I look at you

I still see you at six years old, singing every part

Belting out Shawn Mendes with all your whole heart

You never held it back, you always let it show

A beautiful spirit with a natural glow

Felisity, you light up every room you're in

Such a special character, where do I begin?

Always loving your sisters, so wild and free

Never afraid to be authentically Felisity

Stay just the way you are, my shining star

I think back to that winter, your kindergarten play

The Christmas stage was set, but you stole the show that day

You didn't care if you stood out, you loved the energy

It brought me so much joy just watching you be free

Dancing to your own rhythm, making the memory sweet

You make this life of mine feel so complete

Felisity, you light up every room you're in

Such a special character, where do I begin?

Always loving your sisters, so wild and free

Never afraid to be authentically Felisity

Stay just the way you are, my shining star

Now as you grow, I want to share some truth with you

When we lack wisdom, the storms of life can break us through

When we find our lives in pieces from the unwisely things we do

We realize we want to change, but where do we start anew?

You start by seeking grace, and learning as you grow

Let wisdom be your anchor in the undertow

Oh, Felisity, you light up every room you're in

Such a special character, where do I begin?

Keep on loving your sisters, so wild and free

And walking through the storms, authentically Felisity

With wisdom in your heart, you'll never be apart

That is exactly where you start
