Michael

You work in ways we don't always understand

Drawing the future right in the palm of Your hand

Through my brother, behind those heavy steel doors

You brought me the man I was waiting for

Michael, you stepped from the dark to the light

So handsome, you captured my soul at first sight

God brought you into my life for a reason

A tender grace in a difficult season

Two weary hearts that needed to heal

A beautiful purpose He chose to reveal

We needed each other, He knew it was true

I praise the Lord for the blessing of you

Things tend to slip right out of your grasp

My Flickted Finger Harless, you still make me laugh

You drop what you're holding, but never my heart

And the passion between us is a beautiful art

When you choose to be tender, when we pull in close

That intimate fire is what I cherish most

God brought you into my life for a reason

A tender grace in a difficult season

Two weary hearts that needed to heal

A beautiful purpose He chose to reveal

We needed each other, He knew it was true

I praise the Lord for the blessing of you

Out of a prison and into this grace

God knew exactly the time and the place

Through every flaw and the walls we break down

Look at the sacred connection we found

You love in your own way, but I know it's deep

A promise from Heaven I'm going to keep

God brought you into my life for a reason

A tender grace in a difficult season

Two weary hearts that needed to heal

A beautiful purpose He chose to reveal

We needed each other, He knew it was true

I praise the Lord for the blessing of you
