Amanda

I remember the morning, the very first time we met

A beautiful baby, a moment I'll never forget

They placed you right here in my arms, so tiny and new

The most special day of my life was the day I met you

Amanda, you're thoughtful, you're caring and kind

With a beautiful heart and a stubborn mind

I want you to know just how special you are

You shine in my life like a bright guiding star

And wherever you walk, whatever you do

Just have faith, 'cause Jesus is right there with you

I've watched you grow up with that fire in your eyes

Standing your ground, you are strong, you are wise

You've got a soft touch when somebody's down

But you won't let anybody push you around

It takes a rare spirit to love like you do

My beautiful daughter, I'm so proud of you

Amanda, you're thoughtful, you're caring and kind

With a beautiful heart and a stubborn mind

I want you to know just how special you are

You shine in my life like a bright guiding star

And wherever you walk, whatever you do

Just have faith, 'cause Jesus is right there with you

When the road gets heavy and the shadows fall

Remember the Savior who watches us all

He's right by your side when you need Him the most

Hold on to your faith, keep it steady and close

Amanda, you're thoughtful, you're caring and kind

With a beautiful heart and a stubborn mind

I want you to know just how special you are

You shine in my life like a bright guiding star

And wherever you walk, whatever you do

Just have faith, 'cause Jesus is right there with you

Yeah, Jesus is always right there beside you
