Rachel

Rachel, you’ve got a spirit that shines so bright

Always lifting up others and bringing the light

With a caring heart and a gentle grace

You put a smile on everybody's face

You speak a word of courage when the days get long

A beautiful daughter who keeps my faith strong

Oh Rachel, you are a child of God, it’s true

Heaven’s own blessing is resting on you

I thank the Lord for you everywhere I go

You are loved more than you will ever know

Keep walking in the Spirit, let His goodness show

You are loved more than you will ever know

From the very first day, you were a gift to me

A shining example for the world to see

You encourage my soul when the shadows fall

Answering the Savior's loving call

You wrap your arms around those in need

Planting a faithful and righteous seed

Oh Rachel, you are a child of God, it’s true

Heaven’s own blessing is resting on you

I thank the Lord for you everywhere I go

You are loved more than you will ever know

Keep walking in the Spirit, let His goodness show

You are loved more than you will ever know

When the mountain is steep and the valley is wide

Just remember the Father is right by your side

Without God we are weak, we can stumble and fall

But with Him, nothing is impossible at all

He opens the doors that the world tries to close

And watches over you, wherever you go

Oh Rachel, you are a child of God, it’s true

Heaven’s own blessing is resting on you

I thank the Lord for you everywhere I go

You are loved more than you will ever know

Keep walking in the Spirit, let His goodness show

My beautiful daughter, I love you so

Yes, you are loved more than you will ever know
