Lorena

Singing the oldies, driving down the road

Sharing the journey, lightening the load

Spontaneous and happy, wild and free

You are a blessing and a gift to me

A jack of all trades, knowing what to do

I see the grace of Heaven work in you

Sister Lorena, a woman of God

Walking in faith, no matter the odds

You’re that one amiga, deep in my heart

A beautiful soul, set completely apart

Your testimony makes you worthy and true

I’m lifting a praise for a friend like you

Patient and wise, with a grandmother's care

Whenever I need you, you're already there

You carry a joy that is easy to see

A living example of who I should be

Pouring out love in the things that you say

You guide with a spirit that points to the Way

Sister Lorena, a woman of God

Walking in faith, no matter the odds

You’re that one amiga, deep in my heart

A beautiful soul, set completely apart

Your testimony makes you worthy and true

I’m lifting a praise for a friend like you

When all of us girls thought the mountain too high

When it seemed impossible, you wouldn't sigh

You banished the doubt, looking right in our eyes

Saying, "Make it happen," as faith started to rise

You gave us the courage to step in the light

And trust that the Lord would make everything right

Sister Lorena, a woman of God

Walking in faith, no matter the odds

You’re that one amiga, deep in my heart

A beautiful soul, set completely apart

Your testimony makes you worthy and true

I’m lifting a praise for a friend like you

Sister Lorena, faithful and true

I thank the Lord for a sister like you
