Angela

From the moment of my birth, you held me in your hands

The gentlest welcome that a child could understand

A beautiful spirit, helping everyone you see

But most of all, a truly good mommy to me

Oh, Angela, your love is my safe place

I see the kindness shining in your face

Whenever I am hurting, whenever I am sad

Your mommy hugs are the greatest grace I've had

You're such a great mom, so beautiful and kind

The most loving heart that I will ever find

I cherish the memories of our trips to the park

The light of your smile chasing away the dark

And the warmth of your kitchen, the meals that you share

You're such a good cook, pouring love into your care

Oh, Angela, your love is my safe place

I see the kindness shining in your face

Whenever I am hurting, whenever I am sad

Your mommy hugs are the greatest grace I've had

You're such a great mom, so beautiful and kind

The most loving heart that I will ever find

You reach out to strangers, you help who you can

You guide my whole life with a soft, steady hand

I look at you now and I see it so clear

A beautiful soul who takes away every fear

Oh, Angela, your love is my safe place

I see the kindness shining in your face

Whenever I am hurting, whenever I am sad

Your mommy hugs are the greatest grace I've had

You're such a great mom, so beautiful and kind

The most loving heart that I will ever find
