Camilo

The sun comes up and the house awakes

I hear the sweet sounds that my grandson makes

You open your eyes and you look my way

With a big bright smile to start the day

Every single morning, it's plain to see

You're just so happy to be here with me

Oh, Camilo, you're growing up so fast

I'm trying to make every second last

You are only one, but you fill up my life

An amazing little boy shining so bright

Every day with you is a blessing, it's true

Your Nene loves you, Camilo, I do

It feels like yesterday you were on your knees

Crawling right toward me as quick as a breeze

Now you're up on your feet and you're walking around

Taking your first little steps on the ground

Just being beside you, watching you play

Is the reason I smile at the end of the day

Oh, Camilo, you're growing up so fast

I'm trying to make every second last

You are only one, but you fill up my life

An amazing little boy shining so bright

Every day with you is a blessing, it's true

Your Nene loves you, Camilo, I do

I look at you now and my heart skips a beat

From your messy hair to your little walking feet

It is such a gift just to watch you grow

And I need to make sure that you always know

Oh, Camilo, you're growing up so fast

I'm trying to make every second last

You are only one, but you fill up my life

An amazing little boy shining so bright

Every day with you is a blessing, it's true

Your Nene loves you, Camilo, I do

Yeah, your Nene loves you, Camilo, I do
