Punkin

You dropped off Phillip for his date to meet my good friend Sarah

I didn't know that afternoon would change my world forever

Then sitting outside Granny's house, the stars began to shine

You asked me if I'd marry you, and put your hand in mine

Oh Punkin, with your great big heart, so loving and so kind

The most devoted, helpful man that I could ever find

Through everything we've ever faced, whatever we go through

We always find our way right back, it's always me and you

My 4-Always and 4-Ever, I'm so in love with you

I still remember little Josh when he was only four

He picked you to be his daddy, I couldn't love you more

And then the days our girls were born, the tears of joy we cried

Our family grew so beautiful with you right by my side

Oh Punkin, with your great big heart, so loving and so kind

The most devoted, helpful man that I could ever find

Through everything we've ever faced, whatever we go through

We always find our way right back, it's always me and you

My 4-Always and 4-Ever, I'm so in love with you

When that accident came crashing in and almost took my life

You stayed right there to hold the hand of your recovering wife

For over a year you never left, you anchored me to home

You saved me for our kids and proved I'd never walk alone

Oh Punkin, with your great big heart, so loving and so kind

The most devoted, helpful man that I could ever find

Through everything we've ever faced, whatever we go through

We always find our way right back, it's always me and you

My 4-Always and 4-Ever, I'm so in love with you

Yeah, 4-Always and 4-Ever, I'll find my way to you
