Bird

The choir was singing a gospel song

Under the church tent revival where we belong

The very first time that you caught my eye

I knew I'd love you as the years went by

I saw my forever right from the start

The moment you walked right into my heart

Oh, Bird, I am blessed every single day

To have you walk with me, come what may

With your loving soul and your caring heart

You're always there when the hard times start

The way you love the kids, the way you love me

Bird, I'll love you for eternity

When the world gets heavy, you never break

I lean on your amazing strength with every step I take

I watch how you smile when the children play

Your gentle spirit chases the clouds away

You're always my shelter when the wind blows cold

I love you, Bird, with my whole heart and soul

Oh, Bird, I am blessed every single day

To have you walk with me, come what may

With your loving soul and your caring heart

You're always there when the hard times start

The way you love the kids, the way you love me

Bird, I'll love you for eternity

From that first hallelujah to this very night

You've filled up my life with a beautiful light

I knew I was yours from the first time we met

And that is a blessing I'll never forget

Oh, Bird, I am blessed every single day

To have you walk with me, come what may

With your loving soul and your caring heart

You're always there when the hard times start

The way you love the kids, the way you love me

Bird, I'll love you for eternity

With my whole heart and soul, for eternity
