I pour my heart out daily, I want to be a light

I try to help the people I love, and get it right

I carry this deep longing to be welcomed and belong

Afraid to disappoint them, afraid of stepping wrong

But in the quiet moments, I hear a gentle grace

Reminding me to rest and seek my Father's face

A beautiful creation that His heart defends

I look back at the journeys, the adventures I have known

The sweetness of my childhood, the grace that I was shown

I see Him in my children, the treasures of my days

And in my church family, lifting up our praise

Through every single season, He was walking by my side

Showing me a love that I never have to hide
