Skye

From the first moment you were born,

A light began to shine.

Your tender hugs and gentle kiss,

A gift of love divine.

To everyone who meets your gaze,

You bring a joyful grace,

A blessing sent to all of us,

Reflected in your face.

Oh, Skye, how far your spirit soars,

Through every trial you've known.

You've overcome the steepest hills,

And look how you have grown.

A beautiful young lady now,

So radiant and so true.

I stand in awe of all you've done,

And I am proud of you.

The road was not without its thorns,

The storms would sometimes blow.

But you have conquered obstacles,

And let your courage show.

You've come so far from where you stood,

With heaven as your guide.

And looking at the steps you took,

My heart is filled with pride.

Oh, Skye, how far your spirit soars,

Through every trial you've known.

You've overcome the steepest hills,

And look how you have grown.

A beautiful young lady now,

So radiant and so true.

I stand in awe of all you've done,

And I am proud of you.

You are so loved by every soul,

Who knows your gentle heart.

But all the triumphs you have reached,

Are only just the start.

I cannot wait to see the gifts,

You'll show the waiting earth.

My precious daughter, shining bright,

A soul of boundless worth.

Oh, Skye, how far your spirit soars,

Through every trial you've known.

You've overcome the steepest hills,

And look how you have grown.

A beautiful young lady now,

So radiant and so true.

I stand in awe of all you've done,

And I am proud of you.
