Carmel

The day you came into this world

The most beautiful sight I'll ever see

I looked at my sweet baby girl

And knew my love would always be

Unconditional and true

For a gentle spirit just like you

Carmel, you’re the greatest gift from God

With a pure and kind-hearted soul

Jesus is always watching over you

Keeping you safe and whole

I am so proud of the woman you are

My smart and creative, beautiful star

I love the quiet walks we take

With good music playing in the breeze

The lovely melodies we make

And how you put the world at ease

You are so humble, meek, and wise

With a respectful light inside your eyes

Carmel, you’re the greatest gift from God

With a pure and kind-hearted soul

Jesus is always watching over you

Keeping you safe and whole

I am so proud of the woman you are

My smart and creative, beautiful star

We reach out and put our hands together

Two halves making up one perfect heart

We smile and we laugh through any weather

Knowing nothing tears that bond apart

You carry a light wherever you go

And I just wanted to let you know

Carmel, you’re the greatest gift from God

With a pure and kind-hearted soul

Jesus is always watching over you

Keeping you safe and whole

I am so proud of the woman you are

My smart and creative, beautiful star

Yes, Carmel, you’re the greatest gift from God
