Alexia

I remember the very day you were born

A tender blessing I thank heaven for

Through your childhood, walking into church hand in hand

Sharing family time and every event we planned

Sitting in the pews, singing out His praise

I thank God for you every single day

Alexia, you will always be my daughter

No matter what this world may put you through

My love for you will never falter

I thank the Lord every day for you

Always put God first in everything you do

He is doing great things with you

He’s gonna keep doing great things with you

You have a heart that puts the others first

So smart and helpful, lifting up their worth

I see the loving way you hold the kids

So friendly and outgoing with the time you give

You are affectionate, so caring and so bright

Reflecting all of His holy light

Alexia, you will always be my daughter

No matter what this world may put you through

My love for you will never falter

I thank the Lord every day for you

Always put God first in everything you do

He is doing great things with you

He’s gonna keep doing great things with you

I love you more than words could ever say

I'll be right beside you as you walk in His way

Keep your eyes on heaven, let your faith stand tall

My precious girl, you are loved through it all

Alexia, you will always be my daughter

No matter what this world may put you through

My love for you will never falter

I thank the Lord every day for you

Always put God first in everything you do

He is doing great things with you

He’s gonna keep doing great things with you

Oh, God is gonna keep doing great things with you
