Patrick

We share the laughter, we weather the storms

Through the better and worse, you keep our home warm

We get so serious when the moments are silly

But just being with you is what grounds and fulfills me

Sometimes we’re angry, but grace reappears

You never give up on the ones you hold dear

Patrick, you are my knight in shining armor

A blessing from God, I couldn't ask for more

Like Ephesians five, how Christ loves the church

You pour out your soul and you put your wife first

The Lord is so good, He knew I needed you

I will love you always and forever, it's true

You stand up for our family, a shield in the fight

Leading us gently by His holy light

I see the devotion in all that you do

I know God has such a big purpose for you

And big plans for us as we walk hand in hand

Following the path that our Father has planned

Patrick, you are my knight in shining armor

A blessing from God, I couldn't ask for more

Like Ephesians five, how Christ loves the church

You pour out your soul and you put your wife first

The Lord is so good, He knew I needed you

I will love you always and forever, it's true

Thank you, Patu, for the grace that you show

You're a reflection of Heaven below

With every single beat of this heart in my chest

I look at my husband and know I am blessed

My knight in shining armor

A blessing from God, I couldn't ask for more

Like Ephesians five, how Christ loves the church

You pour out your soul and you put your wife first

The Lord is so good, He knew I needed you

I will love you always and forever, it's true
