Momma jan

You’re the first one in when the morning breaks

Dreaming up the dishes that the kitchen makes

Every new recipe, every single taste

Is seasoned with your hard work and your grace

You pour your creativity into the design

Building up a menu that was made to shine

Oh, Momma Jan, you're more than just a boss

You're the thoughtful soul who gathers all of us

We want you to know, more than words can show

You are valued everywhere you go

For the giving spirit that you always bring

Momma Jan, you change everything

It’s not just the food, it’s the fellowship

The laughter and the stories on everybody's lips

You pull up a chair and you make the time

To listen to our hearts while the hours unwind

You give and you give with an open door

Leaving every person better than before

Oh, Momma Jan, you're more than just a boss

You're the thoughtful soul who gathers all of us

We want you to know, more than words can show

You are valued everywhere you go

For the giving spirit that you always bring

Momma Jan, you change everything

Like Psalm seventy-eight, verse seventy-two

We see that same spirit living inside of you

With integrity of heart, you take a stand

And you lead us all with a skillful hand

Yeah, you guide us all with a skillful hand

Oh, Momma Jan, you're more than just a boss

You're the thoughtful soul who gathers all of us

We want you to know, more than words can show

You are valued everywhere you go

For the giving spirit that you always bring

We appreciate you more than anything

Yeah, Momma Jan, you mean everything
