Kibin

You were six years old with a heart so wide

Keeping little Eddie right by your side

He was only three, but you held his hand

Like a little mother, helping him stand

You were my brother's child, but heaven knew

That my whole life was waiting for you

Oh, Kibin, you've got a spirit so bright

Funny and creative, you're a guiding light

Always encouraging, always so kind

The most loving daughter I could ever find

From the day I took you in as my own

You made this empty house a beautiful home

We’d curl up on the couch when the day was through

Watching all the movies that meant something to you

You knew every word, every single song

Singing out to Annie all evening long

Waiting for tomorrow and the sun to shine

I was just so grateful that you were mine

Oh, Kibin, you've got a spirit so bright

Funny and creative, you're a guiding light

Always encouraging, always so kind

The most loving daughter I could ever find

From the day I took you in as my own

You made this empty house a beautiful home

When the day was over and the shadows grew deep

You'd say, "Now I lay me down to sleep"

"I beg the Lord my soul to keep"

You’d ask God to bless Auntie, Eddie, and you

And we couldn't close our eyes till we all said it too

We all had to say Amen

Oh, Kibin, you've got a spirit so bright

Funny and creative, you're a guiding light

Always encouraging, always so kind

The most loving daughter I could ever find

From the day I took you in as my own

You made this empty house a beautiful home

God bless Auntie, Eddie, and you

Amen
