Roman

You came into this world a little early

My preemie baby, small but fighting strong

The littlest of your siblings, such a journey

I fell in love the moment you came along

I held you close and promised to protect you

And watch you grow into the boy I see

Now every single moment I'm beside you

You bring a special kind of peace to me

Roman, you're my Mama's boy and I'm so proud

I love you all day, every day, I'll say it loud

You've got a big heart, so lovable and bright

Reach for the stars, baby, take your flight

Whatever you want to be, just know it's true

Mommy is always right here loving you

You tell me that you love me through the daytime

You show it with that caring, tender soul

You check up on your mama on the daily

Your sweet affection always makes me whole

You're such a smart boy with so much to offer

You've got this, baby, step into your light

I'll be your biggest fan in every chapter

And hold your hand through every single night

Roman, you're my Mama's boy and I'm so proud

I love you all day, every day, I'll say it loud

You've got a big heart, so lovable and bright

Reach for the stars, baby, take your flight

Whatever you want to be, just know it's true

Mommy is always right here loving you

And if you ever need a little extra grace

Grama is our guardian angel in this place

She's watching over us, keeping you safe and sound

You are so loved by everybody all around

With all my heart, I'll be your steady ground

Roman, you're my Mama's boy and I'm so proud

I love you all day, every day, I'll say it loud

You've got a big heart, so lovable and bright

Reach for the stars, baby, take your flight

Whatever you want to be, just know it's true

Mommy is always right here loving you
