Cynthia

For thirty years we’ve walked this road

Sharing the blessings and the heavy loads

You have a spirit that is pure and real

A caring heart that knows just how to heal

Through every season and the changing weather

The Lord has kept our steps together

Through the highest highs and the toughest times

I’ll be right beside you as the mountain climbs

You’re a beautiful soul, so uplifting and true

I thank heaven for a friend like you

With a loving grace that never ends

I am forever grateful for my friend

There are too many moments for me to name

But through all the decades, you’ve stayed the same

You bring the laughter when the tears are close

And offer the wisdom that my spirit knows

You listen closely and you understand

A gentle guide with an open hand

Through the highest highs and the toughest times

I’ll be right beside you as the mountain climbs

You’re a beautiful soul, so uplifting and true

I thank heaven for a friend like you

With a loving grace that never ends

I am forever grateful for my friend

When the skies are gray and the wind blows cold

I’ll be an anchor that you can hold

Your faith is a beacon shining so bright

I’ll walk with you through the darkest night

Just call my name and I'll be there

Covering you in love and prayer

Through the highest highs and the toughest times

I’ll be right beside you as the mountain climbs

Cynthia, you're spiritual, loving, and true

I thank heaven for a friend like you

With a loving grace that never ends

I am forever grateful for my friend
