Dustin

I was staring at a screen, looking for a spark

Hoping for a light to chase away the dark

We took a chance on FB dating, hoping it was true

That's the lucky day my world collided into you

Dustin, from that first hello, you put my soul at ease

A gentle kind of quiet like a summer breeze

You’re patient and you're wise, you always make me smile

You're funny and you're smart, you go the extra mile

You're caring and you're kind, we stand on solid ground

You're just loving, baby, all the way around

So Dustin, promise me you'll never change a thing you do

Just keep being you, and I'll keep loving you

I still think about that trip to Margaritaville

With the kids all laughing, time was standing still

We made a little heaven out of paradise and sun

Building up a life together, now our hearts are one

And laughing at Kampatchi Hibachi by the grill

Every memory we're making is a space I love to fill

You’re patient and you're wise, you always make me smile

You're funny and you're smart, you go the extra mile

You're caring and you're kind, we stand on solid ground

You're just loving, baby, all the way around

So Dustin, promise me you'll never change a thing you do

Just keep being you, and I'll keep loving you

Sometimes this crazy world can get a little rough

But having you beside me is always quite enough

Your steady hand to hold, your wisdom in the night

You take the heavy shadows and you turn them into light

'Cause you’re patient and you're wise, you always make me smile

You're funny and you're smart, you go the extra mile

You're caring and you're kind, we stand on solid ground

You're just loving, baby, all the way around

So Dustin, promise me you'll never change a thing you do

Just keep being you, and I'll keep loving you
