John

I look back on the days we've shared

Fourteen years of answered prayers

Every moment, every single step

Is a memory that my soul has kept

I lift my hands to the Lord above

So grateful for the gift of our love

God gave me you, John, to hold and to keep

A love so tender, a river so deep

You are patient and caring, amazing and true

I see the Father's kindness shining through you

With all of my heart, I love you so much

My beautiful blessing, a heavenly touch

I watch the way you walk through life

So honored to stand right by your side

You are wise and ambitious, a steady light

Loyal and guiding through the darkest night

In your arms, I find a sacred peace

A gentle grace that will never cease

God gave me you, John, to hold and to keep

A love so tender, a river so deep

You are patient and caring, amazing and true

I see the Father's kindness shining through you

With all of my heart, I love you so much

My beautiful blessing, a heavenly touch

Every breath, every season we've known

Is a seed of faith that the Maker has sown

Fourteen years is just the start of the story

I look at my husband and give God the glory

'Cause God gave me you, John, to hold and to keep

A love so tender, a river so deep

You are patient and caring, amazing and true

I see the Father's kindness shining through you

With all of my soul, I love you so much

Thank God for this life, and the gift of your touch
