Venus

Fearfully and wonderfully made by His hand

A trustworthy friend, you always understand

Patient and caring, whenever I am weak

You live out the gospel in the words that you speak

Venus, you shine with a light from above

Reflecting the beauty of the Father's love

For God so loved the world, He gave His only Son

And I see His grace in everything you've done

Love is patient, love is kind, and it's true

I found a sister in a friend like you

With your hands raised high and your spirit so bright

Venus, you lead me closer to the light

I smile when I think of my birthday night

The laughter we shared and the joy in our sight

Then standing at church, singing out His praise

Those holy moments I will carry all my days

A woman of virtue, worth more than precious stones

A beautiful heart that the Savior calls His own

For God so loved the world, He gave His only Son

And I see His grace in everything you've done

Love is patient, love is kind, and it's true

I found a sister in a friend like you

With your hands raised high and your spirit so bright

Venus, you lead me closer to the light

He knows the plans He has for you, to prosper and to guide

To give you hope and a future, walking by your side

You inspire me to seek Him, to trust in His design

I thank the Lord in heaven that your path has crossed with mine

For God so loved the world, He gave His only Son

And I see His grace in everything you've done

Love is patient, love is kind, and it's true

I found a sister in a friend like you

With your hands raised high and your spirit so bright

Venus, you lead me closer to the light
