Hector

Five years ago, a beautiful spark was lit

At Camp Ability, where all the pieces fit

I remember laughing, reaching out to save you

Finding a connection in everything we do

We kept in touch when the season closed

And I thank heaven for how this blessing grows

Oh, Hector, you're the answer to a prayer

So patient and wise, you are always there

When you smile and tease, I'm laughing too

Every day is incredible, baby, because of you

You protect my heart, you lift my spirit high

I thank the Lord for you and I

We still go back to where it all began

Walking through the camp, walking hand in hand

Sharing all our jokes, making moments new

There is so much light when I am with you

You encourage my soul with the words you say

My sweet babe, you brighten up the way

Oh, Hector, you're the answer to a prayer

So patient and wise, you are always there

When you smile and tease, I'm laughing too

Every day is incredible, baby, because of you

You protect my heart, you lift my spirit high

I thank the Lord for you and I

Words can't express how much I miss you now

I want to give you a giant hug and tell you how

I want to sit right by your side, every single day

Plant a kiss upon your cheek and let the worries wash away

Five years of love, a gift from up above

Oh, Hector, you're the answer to a prayer

So patient and wise, you are always there

When you smile and tease, I'm laughing too

Every day is incredible, baby, because of you

You protect my heart, you lift my spirit high

I thank the Lord for you and I
