Spence

Tangled metal and a scary night

I found my rescue in the flashing lights

You were the paramedic by my side

Holding my hand through the darkest ride

You softly sang to calm my racing heart

I didn't know right then it was just the start

Spence, you'll always be my good stuff

When the days are sweet and when the world gets rough

I'll always be your munchkin, safe and warm

My protector standing steady in the storm

A great provider, a love so true

I thank the Lord that He gave me you

You work so hard to build this life we share

Whenever I am sick, you are always right there

A hero to our kids and the grandkids too

There is nothing for this family you wouldn't do

Then we trade the worry for the mountain streams

Casting out our fishing lines and catching our dreams

Spence, you'll always be my good stuff

When the days are sweet and when the world gets rough

I'll always be your munchkin, safe and warm

My protector standing steady in the storm

A great provider, a love so true

I thank the Lord that He gave me you

God has a purpose for the man you are

Jeremiah twenty-nine eleven is your guiding star

He has plans to give you hope, a future so bright

Just like you gave me hope on that very first night

Spence, you'll always be my good stuff

When the days are sweet and when the world gets rough

I'll always be your munchkin, safe and warm

My protector standing steady in the storm

A great provider, a love so true

Forever and always, I'm in love with you
