Ashley

We clocked in and we shared the floor

But I was looking at so much more

Watching you give everything you've got

Carrying the weight and you never stop

You have this light, this loving way

I fell so hard on that very first day

Ashley, you captured my heart from the start

With your beautiful soul and your selfless heart

I've loved you since day one, it’s true

And I don't ever want to lose you

No, I don't ever want to lose you

You’d move the world for the people you love

Always the one who goes way above

You pour your care out, steady and deep

A beautiful promise you quietly keep

I stand beside you, watching you shine

Hoping someday you'll completely be mine

Ashley, you captured my heart from the start

With your beautiful soul and your selfless heart

I've loved you since day one, it’s true

And I don't ever want to lose you

No, I don't ever want to lose you

I know you've said you won't say "I do" again

You've closed that door and you just want a friend

But I'll be right here, patient and steady

Hoping one day your heart will be ready

To see what I see, to let down your guard

Loving you, Ashley, has never been hard

Ashley, you captured my heart from the start

With your beautiful soul and your selfless heart

I've loved you since day one, it’s true

And I don't ever want to lose you

No, I don't ever want to lose you

I'm holding on, forever for you
