Carolyn

You are the most beautiful soul that I know

Giving your heart everywhere that you go

Selfless and steady, you put others first

You love with your all, pouring out on the earth

Oh Carolyn, my Godmother, my guide

A God-fearing woman with arms open wide

Whenever I need you, you answer the call

You love with your spirit, you love with your all

You've spoiled me with kindness through all of my years

Thank God for the grace that you bring to me here

From my very first steps to the mountains I’ve climbed

You showed up for every milestone of mine

You spoiled me with love since the day I was born

A shelter of peace in the middle of storms

Oh Carolyn, my Godmother, my guide

A God-fearing woman with arms open wide

Whenever I need you, you answer the call

You love with your spirit, you love with your all

You've spoiled me with kindness through all of my years

Thank God for the grace that you bring to me here

You stand on the Word, you walk by His grace

With Romans eight, twenty-eight on your face

Knowing all things work together for good

You lean on the Savior the way that we should

Psalm thirty-four, verse eight is the song that you sing

You taste and you see all the goodness He brings!

Oh Carolyn, my Godmother, my guide

A God-fearing woman with arms open wide

Whenever I need you, you answer the call

You love with your spirit, you love with your all

You've spoiled me with kindness through all of my years

Thank God for the grace that you bring to me here

Yes, you love with your all, and I just want to say

I thank the Lord for you, Carolyn, today!
