Carlos

Take it back to the mall where it all began

Walking through the food court, holding your hand

Plates of Chinese food, laughing non-stop

At the Super King Buffet till we were ready to pop

You've always been the one working so hard

Even when you're dealing out those Uno cards

With your coworkers, just joking around

You're the strongest man that I've ever found

Carlos, you're stubborn and you work on my nerves

But you give me a love that I'll always preserve

Through the ups and the downs, we stand tall

'Cause Peter said love covers it all

Yeah, love covers a multitude of sins

As long as we're united, our family wins

My hardworking man, so funny and true

I'm dedicating all my days to you

I still think about the bowling lanes

And running through the dark in our laser tag games

We were just having the time of our lives

And I'm so grateful to be your wife

You can be hard-headed, yeah, you set your own pace

But you always keep a smile right on my face

We pig out on the best food we can find

Leaving all the stress of the world behind

Carlos, you're stubborn and you work on my nerves

But you give me a love that I'll always preserve

Through the ups and the downs, we stand tall

'Cause Peter said love covers it all

Yeah, love covers a multitude of sins

As long as we're united, our family wins

My hardworking man, so funny and true

I'm dedicating all my days to you

Romans twelve and ten, let it be our guide

Honoring each other, putting away the pride

Devoted to one another in the dark and the light

Even when we bicker, even when we fight

Let's keep on growing, hand in hand

Choosing unity, that's the master plan

Carlos, you're stubborn and you work on my nerves

But you give me a love that I'll always preserve

Through the ups and the downs, we stand tall

'Cause Peter said love covers it all

Yeah, love covers a multitude of sins

As long as we're united, our family wins

My hardworking man, so funny and true

I'm devoted to growing in love with you
