Sharon

We rolled the dice on that casino night

And everything about us just felt so right

Singing at that concert down in Roanoke

Laughing together at every funny joke

You were so beautiful right from the start

A caring woman who captured my heart

You’re my best friend, my lover, my girlfriend today

But you're my future wife, and I just wanna say

I thank God every morning for bringing you to me

You’re my soulmate, my angel, my beautiful Sweet Pea

Whatever we go through, whatever's in store

Just remember, darling, I love you more

Sitting in the bleachers at the Staunton Braves game

Cheering out loud when they called out a name

Then heading back home when the evening gets cold

Cuddling to a good movie, a sight to behold

So sexy and loving, wrapped up in my arms

I’m completely surrendered to all of your charms

You’re my best friend, my lover, my girlfriend today

But you're my future wife, and I just wanna say

I thank God every morning for bringing you to me

You’re my soulmate, my angel, my beautiful Sweet Pea

Whatever we go through, whatever's in store

Just remember, darling, I love you more

From the Richmond Metro Zoo, walking hand in hand

To building a life right here where we stand

Your Christian faith shines like a light in the dark

Leaving a permanent mark on my heart

Sharon, I promise to love you forever

Tying our hopes and our dreams all together

With your tender spirit and beautiful face

There is no one else who could take your place

You’re my best friend, my lover, my girlfriend today

But you're my future wife, and I just wanna say

I thank God every morning for bringing you to me

You’re my soulmate, my angel, my beautiful Sweet Pea

Whatever we go through, whatever's in store

Just remember, Sharon, I love you more

Yeah, Sweet Pea, I love you more
