Sirrah

I still remember the very first day

When all of the shadows just melted away

I held you close and my heart skipped a beat

My firstborn granddaughter, making life sweet

Sirrah, you changed everything that I knew

The second I laid my eyes upon you

A beautiful blessing sent from above

My very first time holding this kind of love

Sirrah, you're funny, outgoing, and perfectly you

So lovable, baby, in all that you do

My firstborn granddaughter, my absolute pride

With a beautiful spirit you don't ever hide

I love you forever, I want you to know

I’ll be right here cheering to watch how you grow

I've watched the seasons keep turning the page

Seeing you blossom and come into age

Growing and learning, so smart and so sweet

Bringing a smile to whoever you meet

Maturing into such a bright little girl

Ready to step out and take on the world

Every new milestone, every new phase

You keep on bringing the sun to my days

Sirrah, you're funny, outgoing, and perfectly you

So lovable, baby, in all that you do

My firstborn granddaughter, my absolute pride

With a beautiful spirit you don't ever hide

I love you forever, I want you to know

I’ll be right here cheering to watch how you grow

You’ve got that magic, you’ve got that glow

A beautiful energy wherever you go

Keep making me laugh, keep shining your light

Watching you bloom is my greatest delight

Yeah, Sirrah, you're a star in the making

And I'm cherishing every breath that you're taking

'Cause you're funny, outgoing, and perfectly you

So lovable, baby, in all that you do

My firstborn granddaughter, my absolute pride

With a beautiful spirit you don't ever hide

I love you forever, I want you to know

I’ll be right here cheering to watch how you grow
