July the twelfth, two thousand and fifteen

The most beautiful blessing I'd ever seen

Holding my Taylor right there in my arms

I promised to keep her safe from all harm

It hasn't been easy, the road has been long

But faith in the fire has made me so strong

The Lord is my shepherd, I have all I need

I look to the future, twenty-twenty-six

Watching the prayers and the promises mix

June brings my daughter to the fifth-grade stage

A proud mother crying and turning the page

June seventh, that driver's license in my hand

July thirty-first, driving the car that I planned
