Bobby

Bobby, I remember when this journey began

Trusting in the promise of a greater plan

You stepped out of the shadows and into the light

Keeping your faith through the longest night

You’ve traveled so far down a winding road

I watched as the Savior lifted your load

Look how far you've come by the grace from above

Held within the arms of His infinite love

Bobby, I just want to say I'm proud of you

Seeing all the healing He is walking you through

Every single mile is a testament of grace

Shining like the morning on your face

I think about the time we went down to the sea

Standing by the ocean, just you and me

Watching all the waves wash over the sand

Looking at the beauty of the Maker's hand

That water is as wide as the mercy you found

Praise Him for the way that He turned you around

Look how far you've come by the grace from above

Held within the arms of His infinite love

Bobby, I just want to say I'm proud of you

Seeing all the healing He is walking you through

Every single mile is a testament of grace

Shining like the morning on your face

You are a good friend, loyal and true

I'm lifting up a prayer of thanksgiving for you

The winds might have blown, but your anchor held fast

Look at how the shadows are fading at last

Look how far you've come by the grace from above

Held within the arms of His infinite love

Bobby, I just want to say I'm proud of you

Seeing all the healing He is walking you through

Every single mile is a testament of grace

Shining like the morning on your face

Lord, I thank You for the work You do

And Bobby, I am just so proud of you
