Lorris

Lorris, you walk with a light in your heart

A kindness that heals when the heavy days start

You bring us your humor, a trustworthy friend

A spirit of love on which we can depend

You give of yourself with a smile on your face

So I'm singing this prayer for your journey of grace

He will cover you with feathers

When the storms of life are brewing

Under His wings, you will find refuge

In the holy work He's doing

A fortress of peace and a love that is true

Lorris, the Lord is watching over you

I see how you care for my mother with grace

The patience and warmth that you bring to her space

You love her so deeply, you stay by her side

With heaven's compassion as your daily guide

For every good deed and the joy you impart

The Father is holding you close to His heart

He will cover you with feathers

When the storms of life are brewing

Under His wings, you will find refuge

In the holy work He's doing

A fortress of peace and a love that is true

Lorris, the Lord is watching over you

For the laughter you share and the trust we have built

May your cup overflow, may your spirit be filled

You are hands, you are feet, you are heaven's design

So step in His shadow and rest in the vine

Whenever you're weary from giving your best

Just look to the Savior and enter His rest

And He will cover you with feathers

When the storms of life are brewing

Under His wings, you will find refuge

In the holy work He's doing

A fortress of peace and a love that is true

Lorris, the Lord is watching over you

Yes, under His wings, you will find refuge
