Rosie

You've got a laugh that fills up the room

Chasing away every shadow and gloom

Rosie, my daughter, you're funny and bright

Encouraging everyone into the light

But when the day finally comes to an end

I love the quietest moments we spend

Oh, I love our quiet and snuggle times

Leaving the rush of the world behind

You are so loved, Rosie, more than you know

When the days are too fast and you need to go slow

Remember the truth in the quiet we share

"Be still and know that I am God," He is there

You always know just the right thing to say

Lifting up hearts in your wonderful way

You give and you give like a steady stream

Cheering us on to believe in the dream

But even the brightest of lights needs to rest

Come lay your head right here on my chest

Oh, I love our quiet and snuggle times

Leaving the rush of the world behind

You are so loved, Rosie, more than you know

When the days are too fast and you need to go slow

Remember the truth in the quiet we share

"Be still and know that I am God," He is there

You give so much of your spirit away

So let all the busyness just fade to gray

Hold onto Psalm forty-six, verse ten

And let the sweet peace wash all over again

Oh, I love our quiet and snuggle times

Leaving the rush of the world behind

You are so loved, Rosie, more than you know

When the days are too fast and you need to go slow

Remember the truth in the quiet we share

"Be still and know that I am God," He is there

Yeah, you are so loved, Rosie, more than you know
