Steven

I still remember you at barely three years old

A little boy with a spirit bright and bold

Walking up to the other kids to speak

Asking them if they were a Jesus freak

I smile when I think of those early days

Watching you learn to walk in His ways

From a little child with a simple prayer

To a man who shows the world how to care

Oh, Steven, you have a servant's heart

Patient and kind from the very start

With a faith so deep and a love so true

I am so blessed by the man in you

Ready to serve and plant the seed

Willing to go wherever God leads

When the road got heavy and the times got tough

Your words of encouragement were always enough

You showed compassion when the shadows fell

A steady comfort I remember well

And now I look at the beautiful life you've made

Walking in His light, completely unafraid

Standing by Jolie, hand in hand

A loving husband, a Godly man

Oh, Steven, you have a servant's heart

Patient and kind from the very start

With a faith so deep and a love so true

I am so blessed by the man in you

Ready to serve and plant the seed

Willing to go wherever God leads

From the mission fields to your own front door

You give of yourself and then give more

I've loved every season of watching you grow

Carrying His grace everywhere you go

Oh, Steven, you have a servant's heart

Patient and kind from the very start

With a faith so deep and a love so true

I am so blessed by the man in you

From that three-year-old to the life you lead

I'll always be proud, wherever God leads

Yes, I'll always love you, wherever God leads
