Daylin De'Shawn

January fourteenth, my whole world changed

The moment I held you and whispered your name

Daylin De'Shawn, so handsome and sweet

You made my whole life feel complete

You're loving and caring, my beautiful boy

Every single second, you bring me such joy

My one and only son, it's true

There is nothing that I wouldn't do for you

Mommy loves you so much, my Dayday man

Growing up to be a great young man

I am so proud of everything you do

Keep learning, keep shining, my heart belongs to you

Keep up the good work, my baby boy

Mommy's one and only, my pride and joy

Look at you now, you're two years old

Speaking full sentences, smart and bold

Potty training like a champ, standing so tall

My little superhero, you're catching it all

Spinning a web like Spider-Man in the room

Dancing and singing to your favorite tune

You got the moves and the sweetest smile

I just want to freeze time for a little while

Mommy loves you so much, my Dayday man

Growing up to be a great young man

I am so proud of everything you do

Keep learning, keep shining, my heart belongs to you

Keep up the good work, my baby boy

Mommy's one and only, my pride and joy

Every day you show me how bright you can be

You're the greatest gift that was given to me

Stay just as caring, stay just as smart

You've got a permanent place right here in my heart

Oh, my Dayday man

Mommy loves you so much, my Dayday man

Growing up to be a great young man

I am so proud of everything you do

Keep learning, keep shining, my heart belongs to you

Keep up the good work, my baby boy

Mommy's one and only, my pride and joy
