Lucerne

Lord, I thank You for the days we shared

For a woman so sweet, who deeply cared

Lucerne, you walked with a beautiful grace

A radiant light shining on your face

You were loving and stunning, a captivating soul

With a beautiful fire that made us whole

I look back on the time that we spent together

And I know I will carry that joy forever

Oh, I lift my hands and I celebrate your name

Since you went to glory, it hasn't been the same

I miss your sweet voice, your kisses and your hugs

But I’m wrapped up forever in your endless love

Hallelujah for the beauty of your soul

Lucerne, your memory will never grow old

You built up a family with a tender hand

Planted roots of love that will always stand

You taught me how to walk and how to stand up tall

Showed me how to be a lady through it all

With elegance, strength, and a heart so true

Everything I am, I learned from watching you

Oh, I lift my hands and I celebrate your name

Since you went to glory, it hasn't been the same

I miss your sweet voice, your kisses and your hugs

But I’m wrapped up forever in your endless love

Hallelujah for the beauty of your soul

Lucerne, your memory will never grow old

I am so sorry that I didn't know you were sick

That the quiet trials came on so quick

I look to the sky and I pray to the Father

That I was a loving and a caring daughter

I hope you felt my devotion in all we would do

Because I was so blessed just to belong to you

So I lift my hands and I celebrate your name!

Since you went to glory, it hasn't been the same!

I miss your sweet voice, your kisses and your hugs

But I’m wrapped up forever in your endless love!

Hallelujah for the beauty of your soul

Lucerne, your memory will never grow old!
