God's Family

We started out as strangers on a screen

Typing out our faith across the sea

A simple group on Facebook, now we've grown

Into a holy house we call our own

God's Family, we gather in His name

Different time zones, but the spirit is the same

We are spreading the Word, letting it shine

Reaching our hands across the dividing line

Honoring the call that He gave from above

To look at our neighbors and treat them with love

From every corner of the earth we stand

God's Family, holding each other's hand

We lift each other up through every test

Knowing that whoever loves is truly blessed

We take the second greatest command to heart

Loving as ourselves, though we are far apart

Borders and distance cannot break the tie

When we are looking through the Father's eye

We are spreading the Word, letting it shine

Reaching our hands across the dividing line

Honoring the call that He gave from above

To look at our neighbors and treat them with love

From every corner of the earth we stand

God's Family, holding each other's hand

It doesn't matter where you lay your head

Or the language of the prayers you've said

We are growing together, a global embrace

United by mercy, connected by grace

We are spreading the Word, letting it shine

Reaching our hands across the dividing line

Honoring the call that He gave from above

To look at our neighbors and treat them with love

From every corner of the earth we stand

God's Family, holding each other's hand
