Michelle

The caps are tossed, the stage is cleared

I held them close through the passing years

My children walked across that line

I gave them love, I gave them time

Now I look in the mirror and I testify

To the woman of strength looking back in my eye

Oh, Michelle, remember who you are

You've carried the weight and you've come so far

You are a creator of beautiful things

Just look at the joy that your spirit brings

So hold your head high when the dark clouds swarm

You are amazing, stay strong in the storm

These hands of mine have built a life

Finding the glory through the strife

I take the broken, I take the gray

And I make a masterpiece out of the clay

So when the thunder rolls and the winds blow cold

I'll trust in the fire that lives in my soul

Oh, Michelle, remember who you are

You've carried the weight and you've come so far

You are a creator of beautiful things

Just look at the joy that your spirit brings

So hold your head high when the dark clouds swarm

You are amazing, stay strong in the storm

I'm stepping out on faith, I'm standing my ground!

I won't let the heavy rain keep me down!

I know my worth, I know my grace

I've got a light that the dark can't erase!

I am a wonder, I'm brave and I'm free

I celebrate the woman that God made me!

Oh, Michelle, remember who you are

You've carried the weight and you've come so far

You are a creator of beautiful things

Just look at the joy that your spirit brings

So hold your head high when the dark clouds swarm

You are amazing, stay strong in the storm
