Amanda

In the simple moments, the everyday

You walk beside me in a selfless way

A compassionate spirit, a giving heart

You bring the light when the shadows start

I see the grace in the things you do

Amanda, I see His love in you

Like a Psalm of hope, like a melody

You speak a word of life over me

With every act of love, with every prayer you send

I am so honored to be your friend

The joy you bring is a sacred thing

Amanda, you make my spirit sing

I still remember the heavy days

When I was lost in a weary haze

You didn't just watch from across the room

You brought His presence into the gloom

You met my spirit in its time of need

You laid your hands and you prayed over me

Like a Psalm of hope, like a melody

You speak a word of life over me

With every act of love, with every prayer you send

I am so honored to be your friend

The joy you bring is a sacred thing

Amanda, you make my spirit sing

You live the words that the Psalmist wrote

A steady anchor, a hopeful note

You give so much and you never ask

You wear your care as a holy task

Thank God for the gift of the grace you share

Thank God for the power of your prayer

Like a Psalm of hope, like a melody

You speak a word of life over me

With every act of love, with every prayer you send

I am so honored to be your friend

The joy you bring is a sacred thing

Amanda, you make my spirit sing

I am so honored to be your friend
