Carole

I still remember how this started out

Your boy introduced us, without a doubt

That was the moment my whole world changed

Now nothing in my life is looking the same

Carole, you're the one who holds my heart

So loving and steady right from the start

'Cause you're a bad ass woman riding by my side

Listening to the thunder roll on a highway ride

With the wind in our face on the motorcycle seat

You're everything I need, you make my life complete

Yeah, you're my sunshine and my wild weather

Carole, we're taking on this road together

We packed it all up for that California trip

Just watching the miles and the white lines slip

Casting out our poles, waiting on a bite

Sitting by the water in the fading light

Then pulling up a booth at Double D's Diner

Sharing a meal with my favorite rider

'Cause you're a bad ass woman riding by my side

Listening to the thunder roll on a highway ride

With the wind in our face on the motorcycle seat

You're everything I need, you make my life complete

Yeah, you're my sunshine and my wild weather

Carole, we're taking on this road together

You got a heart of gold and a spirit so free

You are absolutely everything to me

From the quiet mornings to the roaring engine sound

I'll ride with you wherever we are bound

'Cause you're a bad ass woman riding by my side

Listening to the thunder roll on a highway ride

With the wind in our face on the motorcycle seat

You're everything I need, you make my life complete

Yeah, you're my sunshine and my wild weather

Carole, we're taking on this road together

Yeah, listening to the thunder roll, just you and me forever
