Daniel

Lord, I thank You for my beautiful son

When I thought the days of new beginnings were done

You gave me my last baby, a precious new light

And made the whole world look suddenly bright

Daniel, you are a treasure to my soul

The final blessing that made my family whole

You are my heart, my pride and joy

The beautiful man who was once my baby boy

I love you more than words can describe

I'll always be standing right by your side

Through every season, whatever you do

Daniel, I am so proud of you

You bring us laughter, you're wonderfully funny

A beautiful spirit, a joy to behold

I watch how you care for the animals round you

With so much compassion and grace in your soul

And seeing you now as an uncle so kind

Brings tears to my eyes and peace to my mind

You are my heart, my pride and joy

The beautiful man who was once my baby boy

I love you more than words can describe

I'll always be standing right by your side

Through every season, whatever you do

Daniel, I am so proud of you

I lift up my hands and I pray for your days

I thank the Creator in so many ways

Whenever you need me, whatever the test

I'll be your refuge, your place of rest

No matter the distance, no matter the year

My love is a promise, I will always be here

Because you are my heart, my pride and joy

The beautiful man who was once my baby boy

I love you more than words can describe

I'll always be standing right by your side

Through every season, whatever you do

Daniel, I am so proud of you

My precious last baby, I'm so proud of you
