Ryan

Ryan, I look at you and see

How much you really mean to me

We're sharing a laugh, we're trading a joke

Finding the joy in the words that we spoke

Whenever the heavy shadows fall

We're there for each other through it all

You've got a strong mind and a spirit so bright

A wise protector stepping into the light

With a kind heart beating in all that you do

Ryan, I'm so proud to be walking with you

It’s a love without end, it is faithful and deep

A promise of grace that I'll always keep

You stand your ground, you know your own way

Bringing a spark to an ordinary day

You're fiercely loyal, gentle and true

I see such wisdom inside of you

When life tries to push, when life tries to pull

Your constant laughter keeps my heart full

You've got a strong mind and a spirit so bright

A wise protector stepping into the light

With a kind heart beating in all that you do

Ryan, I'm so proud to be walking with you

It’s a love without end, it is faithful and deep

A promise of grace that I'll always keep

I think of the words in John three sixteen

The greatest devotion the world's ever seen

A Father who gave up His only Son

So everlasting life could be won

I hold to that truth and I want you to know

That heavenly love follows wherever you go

'Cause you've got a strong mind and a spirit so bright

A wise protector stepping into the light

With a kind heart beating in all that you do

Ryan, I'm so proud to be walking with you

It’s a love without end, it is faithful and deep

A promise of grace that I'll always keep

Yeah, we're there for each other, my wonderful son

A bond that is blessed since your life had begun
