Brycen Scott Eckstein

I remember those long drives down the highway

Heading out to see your Daddy for the day

You'd show me magic tricks from the passenger seat

Then we’d stop on the way home for a Krispy Kreme treat

We'd watch SpongeBob and play Super Mario Bros

I miss those sweet little hugs before your eyes would close

Brycen Scott Eckstein, where did the time go?

Now you're sixteen years old and I’ve watched you grow

You're sweet and you're smart, handsome and kind

The best grandson this Gann-maww could ever find

I love you to the moon and back, it's true

I'm so proud of the young man in you

You always say "yes ma'am" and "no ma'am" when you speak

With a creative little mind that makes you so unique

You treat your elders with a quiet respect

You're everything a grandmother could ever expect

Those little boy days might be in the past

But the bond that we share is built to last

Brycen Scott Eckstein, where did the time go?

Now you're sixteen years old and I’ve watched you grow

You're sweet and you're smart, handsome and kind

The best grandson this Gann-maww could ever find

I love you to the moon and back, it's true

I'm so proud of the young man in you

Keep holding on to your love for your family

And all the good things that you're meant to be

Just put God first in everything you do

Walk in His light, and He will lead the way for you

Oh, Brycen Scott Eckstein, where did the time go?

Now you're sixteen years old and I’ve watched you grow

You're sweet and you're smart, handsome and kind

The best grandson this Gann-maww could ever find

I love you to the moon and back, it's true

I'm so proud of the young man in you

Yes, Gann-maww is so proud of you
