Anna

Anna, you're a beauty with a heart of gold

So smart and funny, a wonder to behold

You're so full of life, with a happy little spark

Lighting up the house when it used to be dark

Every time you smile, my worries fade away

I thank the Lord for you every single day

The day I got custody of you and your brother

Was a blessing to my life unlike any other

It changed my world for the better, it's true

I found my deepest joy in taking care of you

You both mean the world to me, through any kind of weather

And Anna, I will love you forever

You've got a loving spirit and a happy face

Bringing so much warmth into this place

From the jokes that you tell to the way that you care

There's a special kind of comfort in the moments we share

I get to watch you grow, so clever and strong

Right here in this family is where you belong

The day I got custody of you and your brother

Was a blessing to my life unlike any other

It changed my world for the better, it's true

I found my deepest joy in taking care of you

You both mean the world to me, through any kind of weather

And Anna, I will love you forever

You and your brother, you're my heart and my soul

Stepping up to raise you is what made me whole

I promise to guide you, through the good and the bad

You're the sweetest little girl that I've ever had

The day I got custody of you and your brother

Was a blessing to my life unlike any other

It changed my world for the better, it's true

I found my deepest joy in taking care of you

You both mean the world to me, through any kind of weather

And Anna, I will love you forever
