Shaun

I was walking behind the boxes, just a shadow you couldn't see

But that very first conversation unlocked a door in me

Then you stole a sudden kiss, right while I was taking a bite

Our first date played out like a movie, everything bathed in light

Shaun, what you mean to me, no simple words can hold

It’s far beyond what we can hear or see, a beauty to unfold

Life put us together right when the timing aligned

My soulmate and my true love, two spirits intertwined

With your golden heart and your passionate design

I’m so endlessly grateful that you are mine

You’re a hardworking man, so smart and fiercely true

A strong temper with a fire, but your goodness always shines through

We share the exact same crazy when the holidays appear

Experiencing so many firsts together, year after year

You are romantic and you're funny, making every moment sweet

A love that defies all language, making my life complete

It’s a feeling past the senses, deeper than the eye can view

A tender, quiet magic that I only find in you

Oh Shaun, what you mean to me, no simple words can hold

It’s far beyond what we can hear or see, a beauty to unfold

Life put us together right when the timing aligned

My soulmate and my true love, two spirits intertwined

With your golden heart, my beautiful surprise

I found my perfect timing right there in your eyes
