Richie

We started out young, we didn't know better

Just two kids learning to hold it together

We took that road trip down the Virginia line

With your hand on the wheel and your fingers in mine

Standing up high at the Kinzua Overlook

I knew you were all of the chances I took

Richie, you’re the hardest working man that I know

Patient and loving wherever we go

You always put me first in all that you do

I will forever love you, Richie, it's true

No matter the road that we're traveling to

I'll always be your beautiful baby boo

Now we're raising our little girl, watching her shine

Seeing your gentle heart woven with mine

An amazing father, an uncle they adore

The best son-in-law, who could ask for more?

We share beautiful friends and a family so deep

This is the life that we promised to keep

You carry the weight with a smile on your face

Making our home such a comforting place

Through all of the miles since we started this ride

I just want to stay right here by your side

'Cause Richie, you’re the hardest working man that I know

Patient and loving wherever we go

You always put me first in all that you do

I will forever love you, Richie, it's true

No matter the road that we're traveling to

I'll always be your beautiful baby boo
