Autumn

We didn't always get to grow up side by side

But the bond that we share is impossible to hide

I poured orange juice in your hair when we were just kids

And we made a sacred pact no matter what we did

We promised each other we would always stick together

Sisters through the sunshine, sisters through the weather

Autumn, you are dripping with oil, covered in grace

Your worth is beyond what your mind could embrace

God has a plan for you, He is with you always

Walking right beside you through all of your days

And I will be right there too, forever and true

My beautiful sister, I will always love you

You always speak your mind, you're funny and you're strong

With a husband and three kids, right where you belong

You're cooking and you're baking, you never give up the fight

Making sure the Christmas house is decorated right

Lost in holiday movies, you love with all your heart

So determined in every single thing you start

Autumn, you are dripping with oil, covered in grace

Your worth is beyond what your mind could embrace

God has a plan for you, He is with you always

Walking right beside you through all of your days

And I will be right there too, forever and true

My beautiful sister, I will always love you

When I was afraid of the dark and couldn't find release

I would ask you to sing, and your voice brought me peace

You love so hard, you carry such a beautiful light

Your melodies chased away the shadows of the night

Autumn, you are dripping with oil, covered in grace

Your worth is beyond what your mind could embrace

God has a plan for you, He is with you always

Walking right beside you through all of your days

And I will be right there too, forever and true

My beautiful sister, I will always love you

Yes, I will be right beside you, forever and true

My beautiful sister, I will always love you
